josh@studiogreygreen.comJoshua Rosen is a licensed landscape architect practicing in Los Angeles for nearly 20 years. Before starting his own practice Joshua was Senior Project Manager at Mark Tessier Landscape Architecture where he was involved in all aspects of projects from design, planning, implementation and management.
As a licensed landscape architect, Joshua is passionate about the use of a diverse, climactically-appropriate plant palette, sustainable design practices and environmentally sensitive solutions to projects. He holds a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Arizona and undergraduate majors from Northwestern in philosophy and organizational change. He combines these perspectives to design environments that have artistic, sustainable and social integrity.
Desire to serve the community lead Joshua to both teach at UCLA Extension Horticulture program and serve on the Santa Monica Architectural Review Board where he contributed his expertise in landscape architecture, design, and plant materials.
A lifelong passion for tillandsia (airplants) lead Joshua to found Airplantman in 2012, a company focused exclusively on custom installations and California-made products designed specifically for tillandsia. Airplantman installations can be seen throughout Southern California and the world and has been featured in numerous publications.

jessica@studiogreygreen.comJessica has an advanced degree in architecture from Tulane University, and shifted to the landscape profession in 2007 to work on the new Louvre Museum park in Lens, France for Mosbach Paysagistes. Upon returning home to Los Angeles, she continued working in landscape architecture, becoming a licensed professional.
She is passionate about how the outdoor experience has the power to improve the human condition, create respite within the urban environment and enhance our everyday lives.
Jessica previously worked at Mark Tessier Landscape Architecture and Stephen Billings Landscape Architecture. Collectively, she has been lead on a wide range of project types and scales from large multi-family housing to small and large scale single-family residences, religious facilities, creative offices, a public plaza and commercial retail properties.
Even as the scale and type of projects vary, the underlying goal remains the same; to bring nature and the living environment to the human condition while maximizing use and sustainability. The discovery of an intimate garden within our dense urban environment, is always a most rewarding experience.
