Malibu Residence

A client's love of French potager gardens inspired this landscape design filled with grand views and intimate details. Strong axial pathways guide visitors through a series of gently terraced garden spaces overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A pool and lounge area with flush wood carpet provides ample space for sun worship. Meandering through the garden, one passes dedicated spaces for edibles, medicinal plants, cutting and rose gardens, and a lavender field. A passionfruit covered arbor provides shade, while visiting the exotic fruit orchard with a meadow and California wildflowers. Our favorite stop is always the Silky Chicken coop where fresh eggs are on offer. It’s difficult to leave after visiting this refreshing garden retreat.
